Job Description:The Government Compliance Analyst II supports the organization’s government compliance program by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of policies and controls aligned with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This role operates as a generalist within the compliance function, partnering with cross-functional teams such as finance, contracts, supply chain, and legal to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. The analyst contributes to internal reviews, documentation efforts, training initiatives, reporting, and continuous improvement of compliance processes. What you'll do: - Support implementation and maintenance of compliance controls related to FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements - Assist in developing, updating, and documenting policies, procedures, and internal controls - Participate in internal compliance reviews, risk assessments, and audit readiness activities - Support preparation and submission of required government filings and disclosures - Assist in development of recurring compliance reports, dashboards, and management reporting materials - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliant business practices - Monitor regulatory updates and support impact assessments and implementation efforts - Maintain compliance documentation and support responses to internal and external audits Required qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field - 2–4 years of experience in government contracting, compliance, accounting, or related field - Foundational knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements - Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Experience supporting audits (e.g., DCAA/DCMA) is a plus - Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance analysis, reporting, or process efficiency is a plus #LB Full-time regular employee offer package: Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity Temporary employee offer package: Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment) Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. Role Description Vestis is seeking a Director of Compliance to help manage and further mature the company’s ethics and compliance program. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, this role will support compliance governance, risk assessment, policies and procedures, training and communications, hotline and investigation processes, monitoring and auditing, and reporting to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
