• Lead the design of network systems that span both cloud and isolated environments, ensuring consistent connectivity and behavior. • Design networking for containerized systems to support inter-service communication and service discovery • Partner with Enterprise Ops to design and implement routing and firewall policies across shared network boundaries • Establish and improve network observability and debugging • Partner with Cybersecurity and Infosec to design connectivity and access boundaries that meet regulatory and compliance needs • Identify and resolve systemic issues affecting reliability, latency, and scalability • Mentor engineers and drive adoption of strong network design and debugging practices through hands-on guidance and review

• Own the top of funnel: Partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to define target profiles and build deep, data-informed sourcing strategies across multiple regions and functions. • Map the market: Develop comprehensive talent landscapes by company, skillset, and geography; identify hidden talent pools and competitor org structures to inform recruiting strategy. • Generate and engage: Use advanced Boolean, tooling, and creative sourcing channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, SeekOut, Github, forums, niche aerospace networks, etc.) to identify and engage exceptional candidates. • Build pipelines proactively: Maintain warm relationships with high-value candidates to enable just-in-time hiring across priority programs. • Be the sourcing SME: Coach recruiters and hiring managers on market insights, talent availability, and candidate engagement best practices. • Partner for impact: Work cross-functionally with TA ops, branding, and university teams to optimize outbound messaging and candidate experience. • Track and iterate: Use data and storytelling to measure outreach effectiveness and improve conversion at every stage.
• Partner with business leaders and hiring managers in G&A functions to deeply understand their teams, hiring needs, and talent strategies. • Drive international recruiting efforts, working with legal, HR, and local hiring partners to navigate visa processes, compliance, and labor laws in multiple regions. • Develop and execute recruiting strategies that ensure strong pipelines for both G&A and international roles. • Ensure an excellent candidate experience, maintaining high engagement and clear communication throughout the hiring process. • Utilize data and analytics to track pipeline metrics, hiring efficiency, and recruiting effectiveness. • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives by implementing inclusive hiring practices and expanding diverse candidate pipelines. • Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, international hiring partners, and internal stakeholders. • Stay up to date on global hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to refine recruiting strategies.
• Originate, evaluate, and lead complex, high-value strategic partnerships that accelerate Shield AI’s market position and capabilities. • Structure and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements, including joint ventures, technology partnerships, and strategic alliances. • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key industry players, government stakeholders, and ecosystem partners. • Identify non-obvious partnership opportunities that unlock long-term strategic advantage. • Lead end-to-end M&A execution, including sourcing, evaluation, deal structuring, negotiation, and integration planning. • Own advanced financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis to inform investment decisions. • Own internal and external transaction presentation materials and collateral. • Coordinate rigorous diligence processes across financial, operational, technical, and regulatory dimensions. • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on corporate strategy, capital allocation, and inorganic growth opportunities. • Translate ambiguous strategic questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations. • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving finance, legal, product, engineering, and operations to execute complex transactions. • Influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams around high-impact decisions. • Develop deep insights into defense, autonomy, and AI markets, including competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and regulatory trends. • Proactively identify strategic risks and opportunities, shaping Shield AI’s long-term positioning. • Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to executives and board-level stakeholders. • Contribute meaningfully to corporate strategy development and long-range planning.
• Lead the strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational governance of enterprise ERP programs with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud ERP and adjacent enterprise platforms. • Accountable for translating business strategy into a scalable ERP architecture, driving large transformation programs from planning through stabilization, and ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned to enterprise operating models. • Oversee solution design, integrations, environments, release governance, implementation partners, and value realization. • Develop and execute the multi-year roadmap for Oracle Cloud ERP programs, aligning platform capabilities to company growth, operational objectives, compliance obligations, and digital transformation priorities. • Participate in program governance structures, steering committees, decision forums, and executive reporting for large-scale ERP transformation efforts as the technical leader. • Ensure ERP program designs support defense and manufacturing operating requirements such as program-centric cost tracking, production control, engineering change traceability, supply chain visibility, and audit-ready process governance. • Lead cross-functional internal teams and external system integrators, ensuring delivery quality, milestone execution, issue resolution, and clear accountability across all program workstreams.
• Become an expert user of the Hivemind enterprise software stack. • Conduct significant travel (~50%) to other Shield AI sites for demos, team offsites, etc. • Provide technical support and training to customers. • Develop AI & Autonomy applications using the Shield AI enterprise software development kit. • Assist the sales team in pre-sales activities, e.g., demos. • Assist in post-sales deployment and integration of Shield AI enterprise software products. • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. • Help customers debug software/API integration issues. • Collaborate with the engineering team to address customer feedback and improve products.
