Role Description Supervise training and educating the store teams on current and new product offerings with an emphasis on Food Safety and Quality Assurance to ensure FSQA and HACCP regulatory requirements are met. - Supervises new store start-ups and remodels for Foodservice. - Address issues in stores in real-time and provide immediate and adequate solutions during each visit. - Responsible for visiting all assigned stores on a set schedule to provide food safe-quality assurance monitoring functions. - Conduct trouble-shooting seminars to instruct store on how to fix equipment and process issues. - Acts as a central contact person for stores for questions regarding food service categories. - Collaborate with Category Managers, BU leadership, store leadership, Food Service vendors, and merchant experts to ensure training materials are effective, current, relevant, and compatible with Company policies and standards. - Coach and monitor under-performing stores for improvement. - Partner with District Managers for their specific opportunities and needs in their market. - Oversee new food service projects based on BU initiatives. - Maintain a database of all training sessions and visits. - Develop and facilitate training sessions addressing training gaps and needs of markets or regions. - Create a training environment that empowers people to find answers and solutions on their own to grow their food business. - Create a cooperative learning environment with multiple levels of feedback that guide people to correct actions - embrace and share best practices. - Leads training opportunities as needed. - Works closely with stores Management staff, Sales Associates, and District Managers within Operations along with other internal departments as it relates to food service category. - Assists with training as needed. - Aids with new store start-ups and remodels. - Responsible for visiting all assigned stores on a set schedule to provide food safe-quality assurance monitoring functions. - Reviews all food and beverage equipment, including warmers, roller grills, microwaves, sandwich cases, condiment stations, beverage machines, bakery cases, coolers, etc. - Monitors temperature and time to Circle K standards. - Notifies appropriate person if something is found out of compliance. - Assesses the cleanliness of all areas of the store including food preparation areas, sinks, restrooms, security areas, storage areas, garbage, and sanitation areas. - Evaluates stocking and inventory supply of key food safety areas. - Reviews store health requirements to ensure they are being met; addresses all critical violations immediately. - Assists with addressing any issues found and helps handle necessary improvements to each store. - Completes detailed itemized reports summarizing the condition of all elements of the store, compiles an overall score for each store, and communicates results to the management staff. - Performs monthly preventative maintenance tasks, assists stores with reminders and resets. - Calibrates various dispensing machines per schedule. - Reviews signage and promotional material. - Supervise special projects or other duties as assigned. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED preferred. Requirements - Complete physical activity inventory of the position includes: - Sit for long periods of time. - Operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry. - View computer monitor. - Hear and speak via telephone. - Reach forward and/or overhead. - Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
