Senior AV Consultant

• Design, engineer, and assist with commissioning audiovisual and media technology systems. • Work closely and collaboratively with others on the AV team and our clients to identify needs and develop comprehensive audiovisual system designs. • Think outside the box to come up with creative, practical, technically feasible, and financially responsible solutions to our client’s challenges. • Produce AV system design documentation that includes line diagrams, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents. • Perform field engineering tasks, including site surveys, comprehensive systems commissioning, sound system tuning, device configuration, and troubleshooting.

Job Requirements

  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience—either as an AV consultant or design engineer.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in AV systems design including audio, video, control, and AV networking systems.
  • Experience with and strong understanding of AV over IP platforms and video display technologies.
  • Experience with audio DSP systems and modern AV control systems is required.
  • Experience in creating and manipulating models and drawings/diagrams in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience in Revit preferred.
