Tax Analyst Programmer II
TAXWELL
• Develop high-quality and accurate tax content • Integrate the information into the TaxAct software • Research and implement fairly complex Federal and State tax laws into the software • Write or design “plain talk” interview questions for user guidance • Write and review test case scenarios for accuracy • Influence and communicate clearly within the team and across functions • Partner with forms developers and IRS/State agencies for timely certifications • Mentor newer tax analysts that join the team
Job Requirements
- BS/BA in Business Accounting or equivalent related experience
- 2+ years working in federal and state taxation, preferably in multiple tax categories: Individual, business, non-profit, estates and trusts, etc.
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- CPA or EA certification a plus
- Knowledge or experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment a plus
