• Prepare individual and business tax returns and meet with clients over video calls for tax consultations • Own the end-to-end client experience including document collection, client communication, and building trust through your expertise • Consistently meet or exceed goals for customer satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency • Solve complex filing situations using your professional judgement, tools and support from your team • Share feedback with leadership and product teams to improve the product, processes, and overall customer experience as we scale • Help build and improve scalable tax operations, systems, and workflows to support a high-growth tax practice. • Provide additional support during peak tax season by assisting tax experts with complex questions, handling escalations, and helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations

• Support the end-to-end recruiting process (specifically for april Pro and high volume recruitment), including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management • Provide an excellent candidate experience by maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other recruiting channels • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams • Gather and organize feedback from interviewers to support hiring decisions • Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system • Assist with developing creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent

• Support Pro customers via chat by answering tax questions, assisting with document gathering, and providing status updates on their returns • File individual tax returns and manage rejected returns through resolution • Conduct customer outreach via messaging and outbound calls as filing deadlines approach • Consistently meet or exceed goals for customer satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency • Share feedback with leadership and product teams to improve the product, processes, and overall customer experience as we scale

• Prepare tax returns and deliver personalized video consultations to customers of our valued financial partners • Own the end-to-end client experience—supporting document collection, responding promptly to questions, and building trust in your expertise • Meet high standards for customer care, service quality, and operational efficiency • Solve complex filing situations using your professional judgement, tools and support of your manager and team members • Collaborate with peers and leadership to improve workflows, processes, and our overall service model as we scale • Be the voice of the customer—sharing insights, surfacing pain points, and identifying opportunities for improvement with product, engineering, and operations teams

• Lead the entire design thinking process for significant parts of our multi-platform product suite (consumer, B2B2C, and internal business tools) • Contribute to the growth of the product design function while building and communicating best practices across the organization • Work directly with our Head of Product Design and Product, Engineering, and Tax Analyst leads to prioritize initiatives to ensure we are solving the right problems • Ensure flawless, pixel perfect execution across all areas of the design process while keeping an eye on the bigger picture • Regularly conduct research to ensure we are continuously improving the product experience by gathering qualitative and quantitative insights via user research • Measure and contribute to business level objectives and key results by ensuring every piece of work you touch is adding value for both the user and the business • Partner with the marketing team to ensure our solutions align with our users’ voice and the april brand
