Finance Manager
R1 RCM
• Support financial assessments of new customer operations to understand legacy operational cost structures and alignment with R1-contracted services • Interface directly with new and prospective R1 customer revenue cycle operations and finance teams • Develop analytical models of customer’s operational performance • Apply AI-based tools to aggregate and analyze large, complex datasets • Leverage understanding of R1’s business model to identify commercial levers • Lead and/or support pricing workstream activities • Interface with Legal team to ensure contractual documentation • Engage with the R1 finance and operations team to support budgeting and forecasting • Provide ad-hoc analytical information to operations and business teams in real time
Job Requirements
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years in corporate or operational finance, analytics, or a similar consulting role
- Ability to work efficiently to support multiple operational leaders and projects simultaneously
- Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling and analytical skills
- Knowledge of healthcare finance or revenue cycle management
- Ability to convey and communicate effectively about the story the data is telling
- Knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Access is a plus
- Customer-facing experience a plus
- Strong personal accountability and ability to find creative solutions to challenging problems
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles and concepts.
