• Practice in labor law across all stages of litigation; • Drafting defenses, appeals and other procedural pleadings inherent to legal practice (such as: Recurso Ordinário [Ordinary Appeal], Recurso de Revista [Appeal to the Superior Labor Court], objections to calculations, Embargos à Execução [Objections to Enforcement], Agravo de Petição [Interlocutory Appeal], Mandado de Segurança [Writ of Mandamus], among others); • Monitoring case progress and entering information into internal/client systems; • Reviewing hearing schedules, conducting hearing preparation meetings, requesting documents and supporting materials, requesting payments, and managing deadlines; • Attending hearings and delivering oral arguments; • Ability to develop litigation strategies and analyze information and documents for case management; • Critical ability to read judgments and rulings and prepare appeals; • Mediation skills.
Job Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Labor Law preferred;
- Required knowledge of Labor Law, Labor Procedure, and Civil Procedure;
- Experience in both advisory (consultative) work and high-volume litigation in labor law;
