Role Description The Buyer owns end-to-end merchandising leadership for a category, translating brand and financial strategy into a differentiated, profitable assortment. This role is accountable for: - Strategy formulation and execution - Assortment architecture - Line building and product development - Financial planning and analysis Responsibility spans six key routes to market: - Bricks - Ecom - Consignment/Shop-in-Shop - Store-in-Store - Marketplace - Wholesale Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of related Buying experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Demonstrated command of assortment planning, product development and open-to-buy management; multi-channel or omnichannel merchandising experience strongly preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and adept at leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency, accelerate analysis and elevate decision-making. Requirements - Regular store visits as needed. - Some travel required, 1–2 times per quarter. - International travel up to 2x per year (bridal buyer role only). • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales contact centre team • Drive sales performance by improving conversion rates, productivity, and revenue • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and provide performance insights • Conduct call monitoring, quality assurance, and coaching sessions • Develop and improve sales scripts, scorecards, and QA frameworks • Manage team occupancy, adherence, scheduling, and workforce productivity • Collaborate with operational managers to resolve customer and booking escalations • Improve CRM hygiene, lead management, dialer strategies, and sales processes • Deliver regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance
• Develop a global sales strategy to achieve defined sales targets • Win exclusive contracts in line with the SGS BA services portfolio • Take ownership of negotiations from initial contact to contract sign off and handle RFIs and RFPs • Enhance worldwide revenue, profit and market share with major multinational accounts • Produce accurate and detailed proposals for clients in accordance with SGS procedures • Ensure that SGS has the necessary capability and resources to perform contracted work • Develop close relationships with appropriate SGS Business Managers and technical teams • Maintain a prospect list and a plan for each target client in liaison with Head of International Sales • Achieve or exceed sales targets issued by Head of International Sales
