Role Description LauLau is seeking a highly skilled, growth-minded Senior Litigation Paralegal to support one of our US Law firm clients with Florida and Federal litigation workflows. In this role, you will manage end-to-end case workflows, drafting, and court filings in an EST time zone. - Review and analyze legal documents, including discovery, motions, and pleadings. - Draft legal complaints, motions, appeals, and discovery requests/responses. - Conduct legal research to pull case law and statutes using Westlaw or LexisNexis. - Process and manage court e-filings within Florida and Federal jurisdictions. - Execute complex scheduling for court dates, mediations, and depositions. - Manage case tracking, monitor calendars, and enforce strict legal deadlines. - Handle client case management and maintain direct client communication. Qualifications - Minimum of 7 years of senior paralegal experience, including at least 2 recent years working within a US law firm. - Strong working knowledge of US legal procedures, court systems, and filing requirements. - Mandatory hands-on experience with Florida and Federal court e-filing systems. - Proven ability to maintain accuracy under pressure, particularly in deadline-driven litigation matters. - Strong organizational and case management capabilities. - Excellent legal-grade written English and professional verbal communication skills. - Ability to handle confidential legal information with the highest degree of discretion and professionalism. - Proficiency using Smokeball case management software is a huge plus. Requirements - Proven employment stability, with a minimum of two years of tenure in each prior role. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Advanced, hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to enhance work performance and productivity. - A reliable home office setup, including high-speed internet, professional equipment, and a quiet working environment. - Strong and consistent availability during US business hours.
