Role Description The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Assist Senior Project Manager, Accounting with tasks including, but not limited to, TIN Matching and manual check reissues. - Support case management company-wide by performing skip traces, assisting with escalated claimant communication situations, helping with IVRs and social media, and organizing the company’s document retention initiative. - Directly support the management of cases with Project Management staff. - Assist with implementing the detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including but not limited to a timely update of statuses, deadlines, tasks ownership, etc. - Monitor and communicate the status of projects with respect to milestones, schedule commitments. - Assist with the coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. - Assist with the creation and execution of case invoices. - Review the documentation pertaining to settlement agreements, ensuring a full and deep understanding of the case. - Assist with the processing, deduplication, normalization, optimization, and analysis of large amounts of data, including the preparation of requisite reports. - Inform and educate project coordinators of the team on all aspects pertaining to specific cases. - Mentor and assist with onboarding, training, and development of Project Coordinator staff. - Assist with the creation and development of business processes, upon request of Senior Project Manager. - Ensure all claims and incoming correspondence are processed timely and accurately according to settlement agreements. - Review claims and supporting documentation to determine eligibility of claim. - Assist with the drafting and formatting of claim forms, notices, and any other required documents. - Follow adjudication policies and procedures to ensure proper payment of claims and or placement in appropriate program. - Research and respond to notice packet requests timely and accurately. - Resolve problems resulting from claims adjudication. - Assist project management staff with the distribution of settlement benefits to eligible claimants, including post-distribution services, as needed. - Protect the secrecy of confidential information qualifications. - Maintain high level of customer service to clients and claimants while positively representing the organization. - Develop into the role of a subject matter expert to advise and guide team on project best practices. - Continually work toward strengthening industry knowledge and all relevant applications. - Communicate regularly and effectively with all colleagues. - Exhibit a very organized approach and superior attention to details. - Meet regularly with managers to provide feedback and facilitate communication. - Adhere to all business processes while performing tasks. - Able to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed. - Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications - Bachelors’ degree in related field or discipline preferred. - 3-5 years Project Coordinator or Paralegal experience. - Financial, insurance, and legal industry experience preferred. - Demonstrate a high degree of productivity while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. - Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. - Excellent written, verbal, communication, and research skills a must. - Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it. - Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies. - Project a positive, professional image toward clients, vendors, and staff in all interactions and situations. - Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail. - Practices time management skills. - Must be an independent worker. - Maintain the highest level of confidentiality. - Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. - Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. - Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
