PPM Application Engineer

Role Description We are seeking a hands-on PPM Application Engineer to support the configuration, migration, and secure operation of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) applications during a large-scale enterprise system transition. This is a technical execution role (not project management), requiring close collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams. Experience with Wellspring Accolade is strongly preferred; however, candidates with hands-on experience in similar enterprise PPM platforms (such as Clarity or equivalent tools) and a strong application engineering background are encouraged to apply. Training and vendor support will be provided to ramp up on Accolade-specific functionality. - Configure and administer enterprise PPM applications (Accolade preferred; Clarity or similar acceptable). - Support application migration and system transition activities, including environment setup, configuration validation, and post-cutover support. - Provide technical input into cutover and testing plans, defining execution steps, dependencies, assumptions, and validation criteria. - Execute and support technical testing activities (configuration validation, security/access checks, integration verification). - Partner with vendors and internal IT teams to support data migration and cleansing efforts. - Support integrations between PPM tools and enterprise systems (PLM, ERP, reporting, identity). - Configure and maintain application security (roles, permissions, audit trails). - Document configurations, migration decisions, testing results, and operational procedures. - Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Plan and track technical tasks and milestones, proactively surfacing risks or blockers. Qualifications - 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise business or PPM applications. - Hands-on experience configuring PPM or similar enterprise applications. - Experience supporting application migrations or complex system transitions. - Strong background in software, systems, or application engineering. - Ability to translate technical work into clear, detailed execution steps. - Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement. - Working knowledge of application security and access control concepts. Requirements - Direct experience with Wellspring Accolade. - Experience working with PPM tool vendors during migrations or upgrades. - Familiarity with PLM-PPM-ERP integration patterns. - Experience supporting regulated environments (Aerospace & Defense).
