Strategic Retirement Plan Advisor

Empower

• Conduct in-depth advice conversations to assess participants’ overall financial health, including retirement readiness, investment management, household financial planning, and general financial wellness • Utilize proprietary financial planning software to deliver detailed investment reviews and objective recommendations tailored to participant goals and risk tolerance • Customize and implement actionable financial plans using analytical tools to identify needs and follow up to promote long-term financial behavior change • Lead one-on-one consultations and group education sessions, both virtual and in-person, covering topics such as retirement planning, investing fundamentals, and financial wellness best practices • Document participant interactions, advice, and recommendations in Salesforce; ensure compliance and consistent follow-up strategies • Achieve measurable outcomes by meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs), client expectations, and annual performance goals • Build and maintain strategic partnerships internally and externally • Collaborate with Empower Personal Wealth to refer participants whose needs align with Empower’s wealth management solutions

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant financial services experience
  • FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 registrations required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and manage a personal book of business
  • Deep understanding of defined contribution plans, financial planning principles, and investment management topics
  • Ability to travel to client sites as necessary (up to 50%)
  • FINRA Fingerprinting required upon hire
