Interior Design Project Coordinator

• Create complete kitchen and bathroom remodel designs using **2020 Design** software. • Develop cabinet layouts, floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and construction documents. • Review and interpret job site measurements to produce accurate, buildable designs. • Design attractive, functional spaces that align with client needs, project scope, and budget. • Revise designs based on client feedback, field conditions, supplier requirements, and project manager recommendations. • Verify design accuracy before materials are quoted, ordered, or installed. • Coordinate design details including cabinetry, countertops, vanities, storage solutions, tile, hardware, fixtures, trim, and related remodeling materials. • Request and review quotes from cabinet manufacturers, countertop fabricators, plumbing suppliers, tile vendors, and other material providers. • Compare supplier proposals for pricing, specifications, completeness, and lead times. • Communicate with vendors to resolve design questions, pricing discrepancies, product availability, and specifications. • Maintain organized records of customer selections, quotations, specifications, and supplier confirmations. • Ensure all materials align with approved designs, customer selections, and company quality standards. • Place orders for cabinets, countertops, fixtures, tile, hardware, and other remodeling materials with approved suppliers. • Verify dimensions, finishes, accessories, quantities, pricing, and delivery schedules before submitting orders. • Track material orders from purchase through delivery. • Coordinate with project managers to ensure materials arrive on time for installation. • Communicate order updates, delays, backorders, and supplier issues to internal teams. • Minimize costly ordering errors through thorough review of designs, specifications, and purchase documentation. • Partner closely with design consultants, project managers, production staff, field supervisors, installers, and suppliers throughout each project. • Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal team members. • Participate in design reviews, project handoffs, and coordination meetings. • Proactively identify and resolve design, material, and ordering issues. • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused work environment.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in kitchen and bathroom design, cabinetry design, interior remodeling, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with **2020 Design** software.
  • Experience creating cabinet layouts, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen and bathroom remodeling principles, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, tile, and related materials.
  • Experience coordinating material quotes, purchasing, or supplier communications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Preferred
  • Experience working for a residential remodeling contractor or design-build firm.
  • Familiarity with cabinet manufacturers and remodeling suppliers.
  • Experience reviewing architectural drawings and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, or inventory coordination.
  • Experience with CRM, project management, or estimating software.

Role Description Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, lead exciting projects, and make big things happen? Join our construction team as a Project Manager! The Construction Project Manager plays a key role in leading and coordinating the work of contractors and professional service partners involved in construction, building remodels, site work, and site improvements. This position supports QSR and large-scale company initiatives—including, but not limited to, paving projects, equipment installation rollouts, and other enterprise-wide efforts—by carrying out these responsibilities personally or through assigned teams. While this position is remote, the qualified candidate must reside in the Central East Coast area. Salary: $98,000/yr Responsibilities - Develop project plans and execute large capital initiatives like equipment rollouts (coffee programs, freezer/cooler installs, etc.), remodels, QSR upgrades, paving projects, and other capital projects determined by the Director of Special Projects. - Budget, manage, and communicate all projects to internal and external stakeholders. - Complete all projects on time and within budget. - Lead cross departmental project teams and manage all activities in a project life cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling, and closing) for projects that are across multiple departments or associated with process improvement. - Develop and revise project plans including timelines, issues, resources, and dependencies in collaboration with project sponsors and cross departmental teams. - Actively manage the mitigation of issues and communicate to all affected teams. - Develop communication plans and communicate appropriate levels of information (status, issues, risks, decisions) to project sponsors and senior staff. - Facilitate decision making with project team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization related to project performance, including, but not limited to schedule, scope, budget, and resources. - Develop project management curriculum to create competency at GPM Investments. - Coach and mentor associates on their projects. - Act as a liaison within and between departments on project management and best practices.
