We're hiring a Principal Solutions Engineer to help institutions, fintechs, and enterprises across APAC adopt Dfns with confidence and ease. This role is hands-on and client-facing: - Design integrations for complex environments. - Guide customers through deployment. - Provide end-to-end technical support across the region, from Singapore and Hong Kong to Tokyo, Sydney, Seoul, and beyond. You'll pair deep technical expertise with strong communication skills, serving as a trusted advisor to CTOs, architects, and engineering teams at banks, exchanges, custodians, and fintechs. Expect to: - Design tailored solutions. - Deliver technical proposals. - Troubleshoot issues in real time. - Collaborate closely with our backend, security, and product teams to ensure successful customer outcomes. This role blends senior technical leadership with hands-on execution. You'll report to our VP of Solutions Engineering and work closely with Sales, Engineering, Security, and Product to support our growth across APAC. Qualifications - 10+ years in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or enterprise integration roles, ideally in fintech, blockchain, and/or enterprise software. - Demonstrated track record helping institutions deploy mission-critical systems in production. - Entrepreneurial mindset able to self-start, champion new ideas, and execute end-to-end. - Strong in TypeScript (or similar languages) with proven API experience (REST). - Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS essential; GCP/Azure/IBM/Thales a plus), microservices, and serverless architectures. - Solid understanding of enterprise security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) and familiarity with APAC regulatory regimes (MAS, HKMA, JFSA, VARA). - Skilled in troubleshooting complex issues and delivering under pressure across multiple client engagements. - Strong documentation, presentation, and demo skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations at the executive level. - Knowledge of blockchain, custody, and financial workflows strongly preferred. - Strong understanding of custody technology such as Multi-Party Computation and Hardware Security Modules. - Understanding of regulatory requirements in the region and experience with offline signing solutions are a plus. - Experience operating across multiple APAC markets and time zones. - Pragmatic approach to balancing speed, security, and business priorities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Fluent in English; Mandarin, Japanese, and/or Korean are a strong plus. - AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications are a plus.
