Health System Sales Manager
Össur
Role Description Responsible for driving sales growth of Össur Bracing & Supports within the hospital market. The Health Systems Sales Manager will report directly to the Hospital Channel Manager and serve as a key leader in executing national and regional growth strategies across health systems. This role is accountable for leading the Health System Sales in their corresponding region, while actively engaging hospital medical professionals, clinical decision-makers, and materials management to drive adoption of Össur orthopedic products and achieve defined sales targets within the assigned territory or customer base. The position requires strong collaboration with distribution partners and internal stakeholders to expand market share and strengthen Össur’s presence across key accounts. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing effective sales strategies. - Building and maintaining relationships across clinical and administrative stakeholders. - Identifying opportunities to grow the core customer base. - Aligning field execution with broader hospital channel objectives. - Ensuring consistent performance, accountability, and long-term growth. We are currently prioritizing candidates in: AZ, CA, CO, ID Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a life science or business discipline. - Minimum 4+ years in direct field sales, preferably in medical products. - Prior experience selling O&P, Physical Therapy or Orthopedic products highly desirable. - Strong oral and written communications skills. - Strong organizational, analytical, task and time management skills. - Ability to travel 50%. Requirements - Attains or exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual territory sales objectives for all products. - Makes scheduled personalized sales presentations to medical professionals in the assigned territory or to the assigned customers to elicit use of Össur products and achieve sales goals. - Works synergistically with Ossur Area Managers, National Accounts and Ossur Academy team within assigned territory to develop and execute strategic solutions to achieve sales objectives within hospital market. - Utilizes all available tools to effectively execute the sales plan within the assigned territory and/or customer file. - Works with VP, Bracing & Supports to execute GPO/IDN contract strategy. - CRM consistently used for pipeline management and documenting all call activities and dated follow-up items. - Consistently maintains high level of output according to established productivity standards. - Develops and executes strategic solutions towards the total market to effectively grow territory profitably. - Maintains and uses a professional arsenal of industry, technical, and competitive knowledge. - Maintains an acceptable level of technical competency, 90% or above on all testing. - Keeps management informed of customer and competitive activity. - Submits accurate and timely territory reports to include expenses. - Exercises good judgment in the use of company funds to ensure territory profitability. - Complies with both the spirit and letter of applicable laws and regulations. - Maintains a professional image and demeanor consistent with the image of Össur. - Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of company data. - All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Quality requirements of Össur. - Exercises good use of company funds and property within the set guidelines. - Contributes to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards.
