About the Role We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Category Manager to join our Sourcing team. In this role, you will be the go-to partner for various business units—including IT, Marketing, and Professional Services—helping them navigate the full sourcing lifecycle. You’ll lead high-impact negotiations and build a robust supplier ecosystem that scales with Miro’s rapid growth. Job Requirements
- Build Strategic Partnerships:
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, helping them find the best solutions while ensuring alignment with Miro’s financial and operational goals.
- Master Negotiations:
- Negotiate complex commercial terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality delivery and cost-efficiency
- Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with the wider S2P team to refine our processes, making sourcing at Miro more seamless and data-driven for everyone
- Cross-Functional Orchestration:
- You will act as the primary liaison between our business units and internal experts. By partnering closely with Legal, Security, Finance, and other key pillars across global time zones, you’ll navigate complex approval workflows to ensure our sourcing processes remain seamless, compliant, and strategically aligned
- What you’ll need
- Sourcing Expertise:
- Proven experience in category management, specifically within IT, Marketing, or Professional Services
- Negotiation Skills:
- A track record of leading successful negotiations and managing complex supplier relationships
- Analytical Mindset:
- Ability to use data to identify savings opportunities and drive informed decision-making
- Communication Pro:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Adaptability:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities across different time zones
