Trade Compliance Manager
Husqvarna Group
• Report to the Director, Trade Compliance and is responsible for trade compliance of assigned Husqvarna business unit(s). • Oversee all trade compliance aspects of borders crossing inbound and outbound shipments. • Drive business results through compliance and collaboration with functional leaders and teams. • Develop and implement tools and processes for continuous improvement. • Assist related sites with day-to-day trade compliance activities. • Classify Husqvarna products accurately for imports and exports. • Maintain classification database and assist with compliance manuals. • Collaborate with brokers on corrections and protests with U.S. Customs.
Job Requirements
- Broad range of experience and capabilities with Customs regulations, communications and general importer/exporter customs operations.
- 2 Years with international business.
- Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, including tariffs, trade agreements, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in performing internal audits using established methodologies.
- Experience with customs entry and export/import processes and software.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with different departments.
- High attention to detail and integrity.
- Technical aptitude manipulating data using Excel, Access, ERP platform software, SaaS software, and additional proprietary software systems.
- U.S. Licensed Customs broker preferred.
- Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, Business Administration Degree, International Trade Compliance Certification or equivalent years of experience in a Trade Compliance role.
