Compliance Operations Manager

• You will help build our Compliance Operations function within Customer Success from the ground up • You will configure and operate our initial compliance and transaction-monitoring tooling and continuously refine the related processes • You will be responsible for operational topics related to transaction monitoring, KYC, merchant reviews, and licensing requirements • You will handle incoming alerts, assess cases, and derive appropriate actions • You will work closely with colleagues from Customer Success, Product, Operations, and external partners to set up clean, scalable processes • You will be trained in additional Customer Success areas and provide operational support there, especially in onboarding, service, telephony, and ticket handling
Job Requirements
- You have experience in compliance operations, risk operations, FinTech, payments, banking, KYC, transaction monitoring, or a comparable environment
- You work in a very structured way and can analyze, assess, and document cases clearly
- You make pragmatic decisions and are comfortable taking responsibility for operational measures
- You understand that compliance and customer experience must not be mutually exclusive
- You handle risk cases with clarity and assertiveness
- You are communicative, service-oriented, and enjoy working close to customers—via tickets (HubSpot) or by phone
- You thrive in a dynamic environment where not everything is fully defined yet
- Fluent German and English (C1)
