• Lead the product strategy for BEAT and define the vision for agent-native backend development across Spotify's platform. • Shape how AI and LLM-powered capabilities transform the software development lifecycle, from coding and code review to deployment, observability, and incident response. • Stay close to the product by using and evaluating BEAT's developer tools, applying AI-augmented workflows, and leading high-impact product initiatives directly where needed. • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team that operates with shared ownership and a consistently high product quality bar. • Partner closely with the Engineering Area Lead to align priorities, make investment decisions, and balance trade-offs across four engineering squads supporting approximately 40 engineers. • Build trusted partnerships with senior engineers and the Backend Advisory Board to ensure the roadmap reflects the evolving needs of Spotify's backend engineering community. • Collaborate across Product Areas, studios, and the broader Platform Mission to deliver shared infrastructure initiatives and drive alignment on strategic investments. • Own delivery against Core Infrastructure's strategic commitments, including AI-native product development lifecycle initiatives and continued adoption of the monorepo experience.
Job Requirements

- You have successfully developed and coached Product Managers across different levels of experience while building strong, collaborative leadership teams.
- You have a deep understanding of how AI and large language models are transforming software development and are excited to apply that thinking to developer platforms.
- You know how to balance long-term product vision with hands-on execution, stepping into ambiguous product problems when needed.
- You are experienced partnering with senior engineering leaders, staff engineers, and technical advisory groups to build alignment and shared direction.
- You have experience defining meaningful success metrics for internal platform products focused on developer productivity, reliability, adoption, and engineering effectiveness.
- You communicate complex technical and strategic concepts clearly, adapting your approach for engineering audiences, product leaders, and executives alike.
- You care about creating inclusive products and fostering an environment where diverse perspectives contribute to better decisions and stronger outcomes.

Ship fast, kill fast, scale what works. • Lead discovery: talk to customers across the spectrum — from portfolio operators to first-time hosts — and translate those insights into a differentiated product roadmap. • Partner with Marketing and Sales on go-to-market execution — you own the product side of campaigns, not just the feature side. • Define and own your KPIs. Build dashboards, track cohorts, and report on acquisition and activation performance without delegating the analysis. • Bring a technical perspective to every initiative — you can write a spec, debate an architecture tradeoff, and spot when an engineering estimate is off.
