BMS Service Technician
Johnson Controls
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems • Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficiently • Configuring and commissioning controllers and network-level devices • Modifying software and maintaining accurate system documentation • Producing service reports and recommendations • Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisor • Supporting upgrade and lifecycle projects • Promoting OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies • Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance
Job Requirements
- min 3 years' experience within BMS, Building Controls or Automation
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a customer-facing service environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and participate in an out-of-hours callout rota
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
- Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys systems (advantageous)

Seal Technician
MD&AA full-service, OEM-alternative for services, parts, and repairs for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, & Generators.
• Responsible for the installation of steam turbine packing and seals. • Precision measurements of existing packing rings and seals in order to manufacture replacement parts. • Removal of existing seals from turbine steam path. • Installation of new packing rings, spills strips, associated springs, and hardware. • On site machining of replacement seals to achieve design clearances (trimming butt gaps, hook adjustments, teeth adjustments, etc.). • Creation of daily log report / final installation data. • Upkeep and maintenance of portable machine shops. • Train other personnel as needed. • Must be willing to work significant overtime during busy periods.
