Role Description The Paralegal will be responsible for assisting in various strategic projects and day-to-day activities to support the Legal commercial transactions and IP groups. The incumbent must be a hands-on, results-focused individual with exceptional organizational skills, and must possess unimpeachable integrity and credibility in order to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding legal activities. - Exhibit/recognize the importance of building effective relationships and establishing trust to build collaborative relationships - Work with deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders - Continually improve systems and processes used to deliver results - Understand the organization’s system environment and tools - Understand the key legal, regulatory, ethical and reputational risks in situations facing the business - Manage contract database systems to meet weekly update deadlines - Provide support to legal team members related to contract lifecycle and IP management - Review and edit confidentiality agreements, memos, and other legal documents - Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations - Support review of outside counsel invoices and e-billing - Manage the general legal inbox - Ask appropriate business opportunity questions to make informed and aligned decisions - Identify and work to ideal circumstances and outcomes during negotiations - Avoid using hearsay or personal opinions and negotiate based on valid information from both sides - Invest time and resources to ensure understanding of the business, its processes and objectives - Possess an awareness of the impact of own work on the company’s integrity and ethics strategy and adhere to those policies - Support a respectful diverse and inclusive workplace - Seek out information from the business or market to deeply understand facts in order to support risk management - Identify resources and efforts around key business deliverables and timelines - Identify risks associated with projects - Take ownership of tasks seeking guidance and input from others as appropriate - Identify and communicate roles to avoid confusion and drive accountability - Align work with the vision, strategy, and priorities of your site or function - Build and sustain connection with leaders and peers - Seek challenging assignments, feedback, and diverse perspectives to continue developing - Engage in open, honest communication with managers and peers - Assess performance and self-motivate to achieve results - Push to expand the scope of role; is proactive and seeks new opportunities - Grow and support team through organizational, market, and industry changes Qualifications - High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 7 years of related work experience, OR - AAS Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience, OR - BA/BS Degree or higher in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience - Preferred: Paralegal certification - Experience with contract databases and legal and IP management systems such as Spring CM, DocuSign, and IPFolio Requirements - Must pass a background check - Must pass a drug screen - May be required to pass Occupational Health Screening Benefits - Generous benefit options (eligible first day of employment) - Paid training, vacation and holidays (vacation accrual begins on first day of employment) - Career advancement opportunities - Education reimbursement - 401K program with matching contributions - Learning platform - And more!

Working directly with the Lead Paralegal, you will ensure cases move efficiently from intake through completion. Key Responsibilities - Document Preparation: Prepare probate petitions, guardianship documents, supporting forms, and related legal documents using established templates under attorney supervision. - Data Accuracy & Verification: Accurately populate legal forms using client information and supporting documentation. Review all documents for completeness, consistency, and accuracy prior to attorney review. - Proactive Case Management: Take ownership of routine probate and guardianship matters by independently identifying outstanding tasks and following up to keep cases moving forward without needing constant oversight. - File Organization & Deadlines: Organize and maintain electronic case files, accurately track case deadlines, and provide timely reminders to attorneys and the Lead Paralegal. - Client & Third-Party Communication: Follow up with clients to obtain missing documents or required information, communicate case status updates, and coordinate seamlessly with attorneys, paralegals, courts, and outside vendors. - Cross-Functional Support: Assist with estate planning matters and execute additional legal support tasks as needed. Qualifications - Required Experience: Proven experience supporting a U.S. law firm, with a specific background in Probate or Guardianship matters. - Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail is the #1 requirement.
