If you have strong contract drafting experience, excellent attention to detail, and enjoy supporting commercial operations, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career with comprehensive training and long-term growth. - Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts and related documentation. - Review and process Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and other confidentiality agreements. - Assist with contract approvals, variations, departures, and document control. - Support commercial contract management processes across mining and construction-related projects. - Review legal notices and correspondence from external law firms. - Maintain accurate and compliant contract registers, legal records, and documentation systems. - Provide clerical and administrative legal support to the commercial team. - Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and timely processing. - Contribute to improving internal contract workflows, document control, and compliance processes. - Perform other position-level duties as required. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline. - At least 3 years of experience in a paralegal, commercial legal support, contract administration, or similar legal support role. - Demonstrated experience in contract drafting, document review, and legal administration. - Exposure to commercial contracts within the mining, construction, engineering, industrial, or related sectors is advantageous. - Experience supporting international or Australian-based commercial teams is preferred. - Strong understanding of contract management, document control, legal registers, approvals, variations, and compliance documentation processes. - Excellent written English communication skills, with the ability to accurately review, draft, and manage legal and commercial documentation. - High attention to detail and strong organisational skills when managing contracts, registers, correspondence, and compliance records. - Ability to liaise professionally with internal stakeholders, external law firms, and commercial teams. - Ability to work independently within an offshore support model aligned with international business hours. Role Description We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft legal documents such as affidavits, motions, and complaints, conduct legal research for trial preparation, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. Qualifications - ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired. - At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting, with family law and divorce is a plus. - Must have strong interpersonal skills, be fluent in English, and talent for writing and English grammar. - Excellent organizational skills, time-management skills, and ability to learn quickly. Must have experience and familiarity using AI tools for legal research. - Completion of a US nationally-accredited paralegal program is strongly preferred. - Must possess an affinity for the use of technology and be able to leverage tech tools quickly and easily.
