Role Description As a Senior Account Executive in California for Miovision's Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Division, you’ll act as the strategic lead for your territory. You will drive regional revenue by cultivating high-level government relationships and delivering complex, hybrid solutions to modernize city infrastructure. You’ll serve as a lead driver for high-value accounts, navigating multi-year procurement cycles and shaping market specifications to help our clients build cities that simply flow. Please Note: This is a remote opportunity for candidates located in California. Objectives and Responsibilities - Own the Region: Develop the strategic roadmap to hit revenue goals and expand Miovision’s presence across California by developing and executing a comprehensive regional strategic plan; penetrating complex accounts requiring long-term, multi-phased planning. Manage full cycle sales - from prospecting to closing. - Strategic Opportunity Management: Lead the charge on joint RFP responses and navigate complex opportunities to shape specifications toward Miovision’s solutions. - Executive Influence: Cultivate a broad network of influence across the traffic ecosystem, engaging with executive-level buying committees, City Departments, Engineering Firms, Academic experts, and more to build consensus and guide accounts through the complex public-sector journey to drive long-term adoption. - Collaborate to Win: Lead cross-functional “deal teams” (including Public Safety, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering), serving as a definitive internal thought leader to help close new business and expand existing accounts. - Advise and Educate: Become the go-to subject matter expert on ITS solutions, helping city leaders understand the future of "Intelligent Mobility," articulating technical value propositions and influencing product roadmaps based on market feedback. - Market Insight and Positioning: Monitor shifting industry trends, competitor movements, and technical evolutions to effectively differentiate the Miovision value proposition within the ITS landscape. - Strategic Forecasting and Growth: Develop comprehensive sales action plans and rigorous monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting models to ensure predictable pipeline growth and regional scale. - Maintain Data Integrity: Use Salesforce with discipline to provide leadership with accurate forecasts and clear visibility into your pipeline. - Compliance: Navigate the regulatory framework and Approved Products List process to ensure ability to sell into all segments of the market. - Travel: Travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients and prospects, and represent Miovision at trade shows, conferences, etc. Qualifications - GovTech Experience: Track record of success selling technology to government agencies, understanding long cycles, the RFP process, and the "public good" mindset. - Domain Expertise: Deep-rooted understanding of the Mobility or ITS landscape, ideally backed by a network of existing relationships with key agencies and engineering consultants in California. - Ecosystem and Channel Synergy: Experience working with channel partners, distributors, consultants, and other key players in the traffic ecosystem. - Strategic Acumen: Ability to build territory plans and manage a complex pipeline (Salesforce or similar CRM mastery is a must). - Entrepreneurial Autonomy: Drive to operate independently and own results while recognizing the importance of teamwork. - Strategic Selling and Influence: Comfortable handling high-stakes communication and capable of building trust with senior city officials and engineering executives. - Hybrid Technology Fluency: Comfortable navigating software systems and hardware-integrated deployments. - Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the executive presence to deliver high-impact presentations. - Travel: Ready to meet customers and represent Miovision at major trade shows up to 40% (must be able to travel freely between the USA and Canada and hold a valid passport).
