Job Description
Vice President, Marketing
Employment Hero
Title: VP Marketing, ANZ Location: Sydney, New South Wales 2000, Australia Full time The EH Way At Employment Hero, we’re proud of our unique DNA, which we call The EH Way. - We are Mission First – Our Mission determines what we work on, where we invest, and where we focus. Every decision runs through a single filter: does this accelerate our Mission? - We are Remote First – we champion a remote environment with a preference for asynchronous communication and a high degree of autonomy - We are AI First – we are committed to using AI to accelerate our mission; AI is not just a tool, it’s a fundamental part of how we operate, innovate, and scale - We Live by Our Values – we role model our values 100% of the time - We Expect High Performance – we set a high standard and we’re not satisfied with being average The role You’ll own the ANZ marketing function end-to-end: strategy, brand, PR, growth, content, and performance. That means accountability for regional ARR, not just campaign execution. You will drive the establishment of the Employment Operating System category, with both B2B (business leaders and intermediaries) and B2C (job seekers and employees), increasing our velocity towards our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG). The two things that define this role above everything else: a genuine obsession with data (the messy, incomplete kind) and a clear mandate to rebuild how we operate using AI-native tooling. What you’ll own - Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals in the ANZ. - Team Leadership: Our cross-functional OKR squads will iterate daily, so we need an agile leader that can remove roadblocks whilst ensuring the team is always focussed on the areas that will drive the most velocity. - Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of the squad, identify areas for improvement and share our progress with the business. - Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies are innovative and effective. - Collaboration: Work closely with the wider marketing team and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across the business, including with the Executive Leadership Team - Execution: Own the plan, ensuring the entire squad executes effectively and efficiently across all streams, including PR, paid media, SEO, CRM, content and other channels. - Customer Insights: Connect with our customers (B2B and B2C) to gather customer insights and feedback to inform product development and other improvements. Who you are To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring - Proven track record in leading and executing marketing teams in an agency or in-house agency marketing/media environment. - Experience in high-paced marketing environments, including leadership experience. Extensive experience in earned media, brand media, performance media, GEO/SEO, CRM, and website CRO. - Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Salesforce, Braze, and Marketo. - An AI-first mindset, both in driving efficient day-to-day operations and optimising our customer proposition. - Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. - Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape. - Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive in driving initiatives to success. - Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. - Adaptability and resilience in handling changing priorities. What we can offer At Employment Hero, we don’t just talk about a better way to work – we live it. Joining Employment Hero means - You will work remotely, with the flexibility to own your time and impact - You will access cutting-edge tools to amplify your work, knowledge and outputs - You’ll surround yourself with ambitious, outcome-driven colleagues who challenge you to do the best work of your life - You’ll own ESOP (employee share options) in one of the world’s fastest-growing tech companies - You’ll also have access to a wide range of benefits that includes – a very generous parental leave policy, subsidised egg freezing (so you can make the choice that’s right for you, on your terms), a WFH office expense budget, and outstanding learning & development opportunities
