Job Description

Director, Marketing Science

Measured

Role Description Measured is the pioneer of incrementality-based media measurement. We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to scale our Geo Experimentation and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) functions. This individual will not only guide scientific modeling frameworks, but also act as a hands-on analytics lead, supporting deep post-test analysis and helping translate results into clear, actionable, and client-ready insights. In this hybrid role, you’ll leverage advanced analytics (Python, SQL, A/B testing) to uncover trends, optimize outcomes, and diagnose what’s driving performance — particularly across emerging platforms like Google Performance Max (PMax) and Meta ASC. You'll work closely with Customer Success, providing diagnostic clarity and tactical recommendations that close the loop between data science and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Measurement Strategy & Execution - Lead the end-to-end design, execution, and interpretation of geo tests and MMM projects - Improve frameworks to account for evolving marketing realities: cross-border, CRM-driven, short-flight, and campaign overlap complexities - Own statistical modeling architecture and ensure scientific rigor - Post-Test Analytics & Storytelling - Conduct deep-dive analysis on test results and model outputs - Isolate media drivers, identify patterns (e.g., PMax vs ASC differences), and provide “why behind the what” - Deliver customer-facing narratives with clear business implications - Customer Success Partnership - Support CS in interpreting test/model results and crafting recommendations - Join key client calls, QBRs, and renewal discussions as the expert voice of measurement - Help CS anticipate challenges and align on optimization actions - Data & Analytics Execution - Use Python, SQL, and statistical methods to process and analyze large-scale marketing datasets - Build dashboards and reports to track campaign and channel-level performance - Perform A/B testing, incrementality validation, and lift modeling - Develop processes to help teams monitor, document, and report on ROI from campaign changes - Tooling & Enablement - Partner with Product to integrate insights into customer-facing tools (e.g., Media Plan Optimizer) - Evolve dashboards and test summaries for usability and clarity - Team Leadership - Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of analysts and data scientists - Champion a culture of intellectual rigor, commercial thinking, and outcome orientation Qualifications - 8+ years in marketing measurement, data analytics, or media science - Deep knowledge of incrementality testing, MMM, and media attribution - Strong background in statistical techniques (e.g., causal inference, regression modeling, A/B testing) - Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent) - Experience with digital media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, TikTok) and performance metrics - Ability to tell a compelling story from data — especially to non-technical audiences - Familiarity with cross-channel budget planning, optimization, and testing constraints - Strong written/verbal communication and executive presence - Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics) - Confident decision-maker with the ability to take calculated risks and navigate ambiguity effectively - Driven by curiosity and initiative to improve processes and explore new approaches - Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously while contributing effectively within a collaborative team setting - Comfortable with rapid change - Leads with integrity and embraces diversity in all forms Preferred - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) - Familiarity with SEO/SEM principles and digital marketing levers - Exposure to big data tools (Spark, Hive, etc.) Benefits - 100% Remote - Competitive Total Rewards and flexible paid time off - Opportunities to give back through Measured for Good - Engaged, diverse, and curious culture - Award-winning technology powered by an agile, collaborative team

• Own the strategy, budget, and execution for 2F's flagship annual symposium, from concept through day-of operations and post-event measurement. • Build experiences that last. Design the highlight moments—the unexpected venue, the activation with a line around the block, the standout swag people actually keep, the stunt that earns its way onto someone's LinkedIn without us asking—that leave a lasting impression of 2F in people's minds. • Generate fresh, counterculture, off-the-wall concepts that make 2F the standout in a crowded, conservative market—and have the rigor to pull them off. • Run our happy hours, socials, and executive dinners—the high-touch engagements where deals and partnerships actually move—and reinvent the format so they don't feel like everyone else's. • Manage sporting and action-sports activations and suite hospitality, including racing partnerships and VIP programs. • Lead trade show presence and large-scale booth activations: design direction, vendor management, logistics, staffing, and lead capture—with a creative point of view that refuses the default. • Build customer engagement programs that deepen relationships across our customer and partner base. • Partner with sales and demand gen to connect activations to pipeline and measurable outcomes. • Manage external vendors, venues, agencies, and production partners—pushing them past their comfort zone and holding them to deadlines, budgets, and our quality bar. • Bring an ecosystem-first instinct: lead with customers and partners and their wins, not with us.
