The DLS Pay Specialist is responsible for reviewing Disability and Leave Services (DLS) pay accuracy and timeliness. This role will work closely with global teams in the US, Costa Rica, and India. They will partner with DLS Case Managers, MHLS, payroll, and the Global Employee Receivable Management (GERM) teams to resolve employee leave or accommodation pay concerns. The ideal candidate is analytical by nature and is able to dive into the details to determine issues and underlying root causes. Roles and Responsibilities: - Acts as back-up for payroll processing by using multiple software systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of Payroll. - Performing Tops Ups, pay review escalation emails and other pay related audits for employees who are on Leaves of Absence. - Adhere to defined processes and ensure delivery in accordance with set quality standards. - Ensure the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved. - Provide guidance, assess risk, resolve issues, and escalate as appropriate for employees, managers, and HR while still maintaining employee’s confidential information. - Maintain system records to ensure accurate and timely information/documentation. - Take ownership for query resolution and performance metrics. - Highlight opportunity areas to domain and process owners to simplify the process. - Perform activities to ensure compliance with standard work and company policy. - Detail oriented with ability to analyze, solve, organize and manage multiple priorities. - Math ability, finance or payroll experience, high critical thinking alongside maintaining accuracy and payroll deadlines. - Desire to learn more about leave and accommodation laws, policies and processes. Qualifications - 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience. - Bachelor's degree. - 2+ Years of experience in Human Resource management or Case management or Leave & Disability management role. - 2+ years of human resources experience. - Knowledge of HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems are preferred. - Experience with Payroll Systems, HRIS. Requirements - Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically. - Ability to apply critical thinking and identify issues for problem solving. - Proven communication and organizational skills. - Demonstrated follow up skills in a fast-paced environment. - History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done. - Experience in providing guidance on leave of absence, human resources, benefits, or complex payroll related employee matters. - Escalates complex issues and cases. - Ability to effectively use technology systems required for job. - Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross functional environment. - Time management and ownership of deliverables. - Decision making skills.
