Senior Director, Network Intelligence

• Architect the foundational specifications for the global network telemetry ecosystem and exercise full ownership over the intelligence framework. • Direct the global DDoS detection framework and overarching mitigation policies. • Design threat detection mechanisms and infrastructure to combat hackers, mitigate network security risks, and enhance overall trust and safety across the platform. • Establish comprehensive data reporting structures to provide deep visibility into network performance, security events, and operational health. • Build detection and reporting capabilities for protecting IP and network reputation. • Lead capacity management and network monetization initiatives. • Collaborate with engineering and finance stakeholders to architect and operationalize a comprehensive, telemetry-driven billing ecosystem for precise usage monitoring. • Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team focused on network security, data pipelines, and infrastructure intelligence.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in large-scale network engineering, network security, or data infrastructure roles within a global cloud or service provider environment.
  • Deep technical expertise in network telemetry protocols, flow analysis (NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX), and processing massive data pipelines in real time.
  • Demonstrated history of architecting and managing large-scale DDoS defense architectures, encompassing the creation of detection algorithms, defensive policy frameworks, and real-time incident response workflows.
  • Proven ability to leverage unsupervised machine learning models and statistical methodologies against massive network datasets to facilitate automated anomaly identification, demand forecasting, and behavioral modeling.
  • Hands-on experience deploying distributed stream processing engines, such as Flink or Spark Streaming, to enable low-latency analytics across high-throughput global telemetry streams.
  • Significant background in orchestrating capacity lifecycle management and implementing data-centric governance for global-scale infrastructure optimization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in architecting data lakes and implementing real-time enrichment pipelines, alongside a rigorous approach to data governance that encompasses PII management, access protocols, and the design of compliance-driven retention frameworks for high-volume network telemetry.
  • Strong background in software engineering or scripting relevant to network automation and big data systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing senior technical teams and translating complex data insights into tangible business outcomes.
