Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in managing end-customer accounts
- Understanding of ecosystem partners and working experience with ecosystem
- Understanding of key Industry trends (IT related) - AI, HPC, Cloud (Public, On-prem), Edge-AI Solutions and Client Computing
- Must currently reside in Detroit or greater Michigan area
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and as business needs arise

• Gain significant knowledge of Mueller Infrastructure Water products by shadowing current sales and training personnel, performing training demonstrations to current customers, and attending training seminars. • Travel with Mueller Training Van and field Sales to gain knowledge of Water Division products, related industries, and responsibilities associated with sales of Mueller products. • Present product demonstrations to end-users and distributors. • Conduct/Assist in-house training sessions. • Set up and take down of product displays. • Prepare for the role of outside Territory Manager (assuming successful completion of training).
- Develop capacity solutions to effectively support the customers. - Manage load boards to match freight with carrier capacity. - Manage a portfolio of carriers and develop strategic relationships with carrier partners in all geographies. - Prepare quotes and effectively negotiate rate for logistics. - Accurately enter, process and follow up on orders and requests via phone, email and EDI, in a professional manner. - Conduct calls with carriers to determine carrier availability and negotiate transportation rates. - Provide consistent and exceptional service levels to contracted carriers and internal customers. - Maintain and grow relationships with carrier accounts including conducting account reviews and identifying opportunities for additional collaboration
