Role Description Looking for a person who can translate client requirements into differentiated and deliverable solutions as a Microsoft platform (Azure) Data and AI Solution Architect. Experience on Microsoft Data platform – New Development, Migration, Modernization, Pre-sales experience. Experience on Agentic AI solutions will be a plus using Azure foundry. • Build backend services and APIs for onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, FX, KYC and risk flows. • Design reliable systems that can support real customer transactions, operational workflows and future financial products. • Integrate with internal systems, financial partners, payment providers, AI services and third-party platforms. • Own backend quality across reliability, security, latency, observability, data integrity and incident handling. • Work with product, frontend, mobile and AI teams to launch features quickly and safely. • Improve existing systems by simplifying flows, removing manual work and automating repeatable processes.

• Advocate the Application & Service development teams across the organization, managing multiple teams actively working at once • Provide best practices for REST API development, and provide solutions for highly complex multi-service application implementations • Design and review API specifications for REST best practices • Teach teams to utilize our new suite of API development tools • Provide architectural guidance for API & Application Development across Synchrony • Help teams understand how to leverage the API Gateway to their benefit • Promote best practices for Microservice/SOA application development • Help teams promote their APIs to the level of Enterprise & Productize APIs for wide market consumption • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

• Create API solutions for internal and external web services for storing and exposing all data ingested or generated by radiologists, using test-driven development to write well-tested code • Build performant and reliable services and solutions to manage and transfer the large amount of data to clients • Collaborate with frontend and quality engineers to spec, write, test, and deploy code • Brainstorm features with product managers, designers, scientists and GTM team • Turn our vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter by working with engineers, product managers and senior leadership • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards to raise the bar for the team • Gather problem requirements from Product and customize feedback and create innovative solutions • Review, plan and architect end-to-end solutions • Focus on company goals and trade off solutions based on cost and value • Run code reviews and pair programming with other engineers in the organization • Contribute to strong testing practices to avoid regressions in the solutions provided
