• Advocate the Application & Service development teams across the organization, managing multiple teams actively working at once • Provide best practices for REST API development, and provide solutions for highly complex multi-service application implementations • Design and review API specifications for REST best practices • Teach teams to utilize our new suite of API development tools • Provide architectural guidance for API & Application Development across Synchrony • Help teams understand how to leverage the API Gateway to their benefit • Promote best practices for Microservice/SOA application development • Help teams promote their APIs to the level of Enterprise & Productize APIs for wide market consumption • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

• Create API solutions for internal and external web services for storing and exposing all data ingested or generated by radiologists, using test-driven development to write well-tested code • Build performant and reliable services and solutions to manage and transfer the large amount of data to clients • Collaborate with frontend and quality engineers to spec, write, test, and deploy code • Brainstorm features with product managers, designers, scientists and GTM team • Turn our vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter by working with engineers, product managers and senior leadership • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards to raise the bar for the team • Gather problem requirements from Product and customize feedback and create innovative solutions • Review, plan and architect end-to-end solutions • Focus on company goals and trade off solutions based on cost and value • Run code reviews and pair programming with other engineers in the organization • Contribute to strong testing practices to avoid regressions in the solutions provided

• Design and develop high quality, maintainable software modules for the Cotiviti, Inc. product suite • Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodology and techniques • Analyze requirements and specifications and create detailed designs for implementation • Analyze and resolve software related issues originated from internal or external customers • Continuously update professional knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Cotiviti, Inc. product suite • Review software engineering approach to proposed solutions to ensure adherence to best practice • Mentor team members in proper software engineering methods and techniques

• Designing, developing and providing support for entire software development life cycle for child supports systems • Work collaboratively with other members of the project team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality delivery enterprise applications • Plan and estimate development work needed to implement assigned tasks • Transform requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions • Perform detailed application design as appropriate • Provide leadership to other team members to deliver high quality systems on schedule • Ability to coordinate and work on production issues • Ability to work with Production Support teams to ensure questions and answers are clear and concise.
