Qualifications - Personal Lines underwriting experience preferred - Experience managing a book of business and making independent underwriting decisions - Background with a multiline carrier strongly preferred - Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills - Ability to balance risk selection, profitability, and customer service Requirements - Structured virtual training program lasting approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on experience - Training schedule is generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Central Time - This is a remote position - After training, schedules may vary based on business and territory needs, with operating hours typically between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time Key Responsibilities - Underwrite new and renewal Personal Lines business within authority - Manage an assigned territory and portfolio to support profitable growth - Build strong partnerships with independent agents - Evaluate complex risks and make informed underwriting decisions - Collaborate with Product, Sales, Claims, and other business partners - Provide guidance and technical expertise to less experienced underwriters Job Description Summary Success on our team requires a blend of customer service skill and analytical prowess.
