Job Description
Director, Reward Consulting & Insights
Aon Corporation
Role Description Are you passionate about helping Life Sciences organisations make better compensation decisions? Do you enjoy uncovering growth opportunities, building trusted client relationships and turning market intelligence into commercial success? At Aon, we're looking for a commercially minded leader to grow our Life Sciences Reward Consulting & Insights practice. Working with senior Reward, HR and business leaders, you'll help clients solve complex compensation challenges while identifying opportunities to expand relationships, win new business and deliver greater value. You'll lead commercially focused conversations, shape client strategy and help organisations make confident decisions about pay, talent and workforce challenges. This is more than a consulting role. It's an opportunity to influence the future direction of our Life Sciences practice, drive market growth and build lasting partnerships with industry-leading organisations. If you're equally comfortable discussing compensation strategy in the boardroom, identifying new commercial opportunities and helping clients navigate complex workforce decisions, we'd love to hear from you. The role can be based anywhere in the UK with the flexibility of working remotely and from one of our UK offices. What the day will look like - Drive growth across the UK Life Sciences market - Lead the commercial growth strategy for our Life Sciences reward and workforce insights offering. - Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients and engage new organisations across the sector. - Develop market-facing strategies that increase penetration, strengthen client engagement and drive sustainable revenue growth. - Collaborate with colleagues across Human Capital Solutions to bring together data, advisory and technology solutions that address client needs. - Build trusted client partnerships - Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with HR, Reward, Talent and business leaders. - Act as a strategic adviser, helping clients address evolving workforce, skills and compensation challenges. - Understand client priorities and identify opportunities where Aon's insights, data and consulting capabilities can create value. - Lead business development activities, proposals and client discussions. - Deliver data-led consulting and insight - Lead consulting engagements focused on reward strategy, pay benchmarking, workforce planning and market intelligence. - Translate complex datasets into meaningful insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders. - Support clients in making informed decisions around attraction, retention and reward. - Present findings and recommendations confidently to executive audiences. - Influence the market through thought leadership - Monitor and interpret trends shaping the Life Sciences sector, including compensation, workforce and regulatory developments. - Create and contribute to thought leadership, research, webinars, roundtables and industry events. - Build a strong client community that encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing and best-practice discussions. - Position Aon as a leading voice in reward and workforce intelligence across the Life Sciences market. - Shape future solutions - Work closely with product and operations teams to ensure market-leading data quality and client experience. - Provide strategic feedback on market needs, emerging trends and opportunities for innovation. - Influence the evolution of our data and insight offerings to ensure they remain relevant and commercially impactful. What makes this role different? This is not a traditional reward consulting role, and it is not a pure data role. You will sit at the intersection of consulting, compensation intelligence and commercial growth, helping some of the world's most innovative Life Sciences organisations make better decisions about pay, talent and workforce strategy. You will combine the credibility of a trusted adviser with the commercial instinct of a business developer, using market-leading compensation data, industry insight and consulting expertise to help clients solve complex challenges while identifying opportunities to create additional value. Alongside advising clients, you will play a key role in shaping the future growth of Aon's Life Sciences practice. You will influence go-to-market strategy, strengthen our presence within the sector and help expand our client base through meaningful relationships and market insight. For someone who enjoys building executive-level relationships, leading commercially focused conversations and turning compensation data into business outcomes, this role offers exceptional visibility, influence and growth potential within one of the world's leading professional services firms.
