Territory Manager - Dust Control

Midwest Industrial Supply, Inc

• Maintain and grow sales within existing and new Mining focused dust control customer accounts to achieve annual profit and revenue goals. • Responsible for ensuring that Midwest has strong and enduring relationships at multiple organizational levels at their customers to create long-term sales partnerships. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the mining sector and others as assigned. • Regularly visit client sites to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering technical support as needed. • Assist on operational cluster calls to help facilitate daily operational challenges. • Work collaboratively with other functions to meet the needs of all customers. • Achieve sales and profitability targets in accordance with Midwest Strategy Deployment. • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth. • Identify new business opportunities within assigned region and elevate these opportunities to the General Manager Mining. • Prepare and present proposals and quotations to clients. • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively. • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Midwest's products and services. • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings. • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure clients understand how to use the products effectively. • Educate clients on the features and benefits of Midwest's products. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales targets within the Midwest CRM system. • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. • Provide insights and recommendations to the General Manager Mining based on market analysis.

Job Requirements

  • High School or better.
  • 1-2 years: Experience with customer service role in managing large customer accounts ($500k+)
  • 2-5 years: Familiarity with hard rock mining preferred. Specifically, the main processes used to extract and process mine ores.

Qualifications - 5-8 years in account management, sales, or a related role, ideally with exposure to SaaS, CPaaS, martech, or AI/automation products. - Experience selling a multi-product or platform-plus-add-on portfolio is a strong plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical AI/automation concepts into clear business value for diverse audiences. - Strong negotiation and contract management skills, including experience with bundled or usage-based pricing models. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically. - Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new tools; some familiarity with AI agents, chatbots, or conversational automation is a plus. - Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) required.
