As a member of the engineering team, you will develop critical software components for direct real-world use in a collaborative highly supportive team environment using Agile software development practices. Role Description The Manheim Mobile Inspections Supervisor reports to the Manager and is responsible for the effective leadership and supervision of a team of Mobile Inspectors in a specified geographic territory. The Supervisor’s primary focus is to ensure inspection quality and drive operational efficiency with a team of 10 to 15+ Mobile Inspectors while maintaining a culture of operational excellence and accountability. - Assist with operational matters concerning mobile inspections, new car inspections, and floorplan audits. - Ensure inspections and floorplan audits meet quality, productivity, and safety objectives. - Responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of Mobile Inspectors. - Manage ongoing performance using Lean Daily Management and continuous improvement initiatives. - Build and maintain relationships with boundary partners including auctions, sales, and remote dealer services. - Support and develop the Mobile Inspection team, triaging and escalating field-based challenges. - Interact with multiple levels of the organization, requiring a detail-oriented team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
