• Improve our mobile developer experience — from local setup to CI/CD — so engineers across the company can confidently contribute to the Guest App • Build guardrails, tooling, and automation that make shipping changes to thousands of apps safe and reliable • Increase release reliability and app freshness across Apple App Store and Google Play • Strengthen observability, monitoring, and operational workflows to quickly diagnose and resolve issues • Leverage AI tools to build automations at scale across our release and distribution workflows • Partner closely with our internal launch team — power their workflows, hear feedback quickly, and iterate • Contribute directly to the Guest App codebase when platform and product work intersect • Take ownership of cross-cutting technical initiatives from design through production • Provide thoughtful code reviews and technical leadership to raise the bar across the team • Help us build a great team — interview candidates, refer great engineers, and shape engineering culture
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping production applications, including experience owning releases end-to-end
- Strong experience with TypeScript
- Experience building and maintaining mobile applications (React Native experience is a strong plus)
- Experience owning mobile app distribution — including shipping releases through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play, managing build pipelines, release workflows, versioning, and store compliance
- Experience improving CI/CD pipelines and automating build and release processes
- Track record of increasing release reliability and operational visibility (monitoring, alerting, debugging production issues)
- Comfort navigating complex and sometimes opaque external systems (e.g., Apple/Google developer workflows, certificates, provisioning, store review processes, compliance requirements)
- Experience at a product-focused startup, scale-up, or technology company
- High degree of cross-functional collaboration — past colleagues in product, design, and business would speak highly of your teamwork
- Strong sense of ownership and drive, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving ambiguous, cross-cutting problems.

• Own the AI/ML platform: GPU capacity strategy, model serving and inference latency, training and fine-tuning infrastructure, MLOps and evaluation pipelines, vector and feature stores, and the RAG and agentic patterns our product teams build on. • Build out the incident response program: on-call structure, severity definitions, incident command, communication standards, postmortems, and follow-through on systemic fixes. • Develop the observability stack across metrics, logs, traces, and synthetics.
