Job Description
Instructional Design Lead
Syllo
Role Description We are seeking an Instructional Designer to join the training department. In this role, you own the architecture of Syllo Academy: the LMS infrastructure, the curriculum design standards that every piece of training content must meet, the production of video and multimedia assets, and the certification program that validates client proficiency. You will be the operational and creative backbone of the training department, and the quality of everything the department ships runs through you. - Architect and continuously improve Syllo Academy — defining the structure, navigation, and learner experience for all client-facing and internal training content - Administer the LMS, including user management, content organization, course publishing, reporting configuration, and integration with other Syllo systems - Establish and maintain curriculum design standards for the training department, including templates, style guides, and quality review checklists that govern content output - Produce video and multimedia training assets — screen recordings, narrated walkthroughs, interactive exercises, and knowledge checks — working from scripts and outlines provided by subject matter experts - Develop, maintain, and score certification exams that validate user proficiency on Syllo's platform - Own learning analytics: configure dashboards, generate reports on completion, assessment performance, and engagement, and surface insights to the training team and client-facing stakeholders - Manage the production pipeline for new training content as Syllo ships product releases, coordinating with the training team subject matter experts to keep content current - Identify opportunities to improve the learner experience through A/B testing, feedback loops, and analysis of engagement and performance data Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a directly related role in a SaaS or technology environment - Demonstrated experience administering an LMS (such as Docebo, Absorb, Cornerstone, or similar) at the system level — not just publishing content - Proficiency with video and multimedia production tools such as Camtasia, Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent - Experience developing assessments and certification programs, including item writing, rubric design, and pass/fail calibration - Working knowledge of learning analytics — familiarity with SCORM or xAPI, and comfort configuring and interpreting reporting dashboards - Strong project management and production workflow skills; you can run a content pipeline across multiple contributors and deadlines - Experience designing for legal or compliance audiences is a plus, as is exposure to AI-powered software products Requirements - Systems thinking: you see the Academy as a whole and you manage all of it as a connected system - Craft: you produce learning assets that are clear, well-paced, and genuinely useful to legal professionals - Standards discipline: you establish design standards and hold the department to them consistently - Analytical orientation: you use data to identify what's working and what isn't, and you act on it - Collaboration: you work effectively with subject matter experts and others on the team Benefits - Compensation will be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience, with a salary range of $105K – $130K, with potential for a higher range for exceptional candidates. - United States - Remote Pay Range: $105 — $130 USD

Senior UX Designer, Provider Experience
DatavantConnecting the world’s health data to improve patient outcomes.
• Define and maintain the overall experience architecture of Provider Console — how features connect, how providers navigate, and how new capabilities get introduced without adding cognitive load • Identify and resolve inconsistencies across product surfaces that have grown independently — navigation patterns, terminology, interaction models • Design for provider journeys that span multiple products, not just individual feature moments • Build and maintain a shared component library and pattern documentation for Provider Console, in coordination with the broader design system • Lead the design effort to reduce provider reliance on support — map where and why providers call or email today, and systematically design those friction points out • Design transparent, real-time status experiences so providers always know where their request stands without asking • Create onboarding and setup flows that enable providers to configure their own credentials, users, and preferences without implementation support • Design proactive notification and alert systems that surface the right information at the right time, reducing the need for providers to go looking • Evaluate and design for progressive disclosure — showing providers the right level of complexity based on their role and context • Conduct provider research — both with external provider organizations and internal teams who proxy for provider needs — to ground design decisions in real behavior • Analyze support ticket data, call drivers, and AM escalations to identify the highest-impact self-service opportunities • Run usability testing on new workflows before they ship, with a particular focus on onboarding and first-time experiences • Maintain a clear point of view on what providers need most and bring that perspective into roadmap and prioritization conversations • Partner closely with the Provider Console PM, engineering team, and adjacent product teams (RM+, HealthForms, Provider Exchange) as new capabilities get integrated • Work with Solutions Consulting and Account Management teams who have direct provider relationships and field feedback daily • Communicate design decisions clearly — including what you explored and why you landed where you did • Push for quality: specs that leave no room for ambiguity, prototypes that test what matters, and delivery that matches design intent
• This position leads the definition and design of intuitive, accessible, and outcome-driven product experiences across Follett Software’s portfolio, setting the bar for design quality, modeling strong product design practice, and influencing how the team approaches discovery, framing, and delivery. • The Senior Product Designer is a core part of the product trio and partners closely with Product Managers and Engineers to understand educator workflows, frame the right problems, and deliver solutions that are valuable to customers, usable in the real world, feasible to build, and effective for the business. • As a senior contributor, this designer also helps shape design team standards, mentors designers, and brings strategic perspective to complex, ambiguous problems across the portfolio. • This role carries elevated product design accountability. The Senior Product Designer is expected to shape discovery, workflows, interaction models, usability, and experience quality from concept through launch, while influencing how the broader team approaches design quality, tradeoffs, and decision-making. • Success in this role requires sophisticated judgment, deep collaboration, comfort with ambiguity, and a pragmatic mindset that values speed, learning, and iteration over perfection. • This role also contributes to modern AI-enabled product work, including trust patterns, fallback behavior, prompt-aware experiences, and the responsible use of AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, prototyping, and design iteration while maintaining strong human accountability.
