Role Description Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Coordinator with a Secret Security clearance to support KITS and our government customer. The position is remote. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project coordination and a working knowledge of identity and access management programs within a federal environment. This individual will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and tracking of ICAM program activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with government requirements. The ICAM Project Coordinator will support the planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of project activities associated with ICAM programs and solutions in a federal government environment. This individual will work closely with project managers, engineers, security teams, and government stakeholders to ensure that program activities are well-coordinated, documented, and executed in accordance with established timelines and objectives. - Support project managers in the day-to-day coordination of ICAM program activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining project documentation. - Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and milestone tracking tools to ensure accurate visibility into project progress. - Monitor and report on project status, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns to project managers and program leadership as appropriate. - Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder briefings, including preparing agendas, capturing meeting minutes, and tracking follow-up action items. - Maintain and organize project repositories, SharePoint sites, and document management systems to ensure all project artifacts are current, accessible, and properly version-controlled. - Support the development and submission of project deliverables, status reports, and other program documentation in accordance with contract requirements and government deadlines. - Assist in the coordination of onboarding and offboarding activities for project team members, including tracking access requests and equipment provisioning within the ICAM environment. - Track and manage project risks and issues logs, working with technical leads and project managers to ensure timely resolution and mitigation. - Support change management activities by coordinating change requests, tracking approvals, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders. - Assist in the preparation of briefings, presentations, and reports for government customers and senior leadership. - Coordinate cross-functional communication between ICAM engineers, administrators, security teams, and government stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities. - Support budget tracking activities by monitoring expenditures, tracking invoices, and assisting with financial reporting as directed by program leadership. - Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and lessons-learned repositories. - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in support of Agile-managed ICAM workstreams. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or project support role within an information technology or federal government environment. Requirements - Active Secret Clearance required. - Exceptional communication skills in English – both written and oral – with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Demonstrated experience maintaining project schedules, tracking action items, and supporting project reporting activities. - Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms. - Experience preparing and distributing meeting agendas, minutes, and action item trackers. - Ability to develop clear, concise, and professional written communications, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences, including senior leadership and government customers. - Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile frameworks. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating the initiative to work independently when required. - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
