Role Description The Head of Agile Practice is responsible for driving delivery excellence across Equiniti by defining, embedding, and evolving Agile ways of working. The role ensures Agile principles, standards, and best practices are consistently adopted across product lines and delivery teams to improve predictability, quality, transparency, and business outcomes. - Leading a team of Agile Practitioners. - Partnering with Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product, Technology, and Portfolio leaders. - Strengthening organisational capability, embedding continuous improvement, and driving adoption of Equiniti's Agile operating model. Qualifications - Proven experience leading Agile practices, Agile CoE, Agile transformations, or delivery excellence functions. - Experience implementing and scaling Agile frameworks across multiple teams, programmes, or value streams. - Experience embedding new ways of working across complex organisations. - Track record of improving delivery effectiveness, predictability, quality, and team performance through Agile practices. - Experience coaching and influencing leaders and delivery teams at all levels. - Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe. - Experience in product-led or customer-focused environments. - Experience measuring Agile maturity, delivery effectiveness, and continuous improvement through data-driven insights. - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. - Excellent facilitation, communication, and organisational development skills. - Relevant Agile certification (SAFe SPC, RTE, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or equivalent). Requirements - Experience leading enterprise-scale Agile transformations. - Experience implementing delivery metrics, dashboards, and improvement programmes. - Knowledge of Product Operating Models and Value Stream organisations. - Experience establishing Agile training and certification programmes. - Experience working in regulated environments. - Understanding of OKRs and outcome-based planning. - Strong understanding of AI-assisted software delivery, agentic workflow design, prompt engineering, responsible AI practices, and the ability to coach teams in adopting AI-enabled ways of working across the product and engineering lifecycle.
