Role Description We are looking for a highly self-motivated Vice President, Program Management to serve as the operational backbone of our pipeline. Reporting to the CEO, this person will be the connective tissue across every function that touches our programs — finance, legal, regulatory, clinical development, clinical operations, CMC, nonclinical, and beyond — ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks, that leadership always has a clear and current view of timelines and risks, and that the decisions that move our programs forward are surfaced early and teed up well. Roughly 80% of the focus will be our lead program, PIKTOR, with the expectation that this person scales into a broader program and portfolio remit as the pipeline grows. - Own the integrated program plan. - Build and maintain a single, authoritative view of timelines, milestones, dependencies, and the critical path across all functions for PIKTOR and, over time, the broader portfolio. - Keep leadership ahead of the program, not behind it. - Serve as the source of truth for where each program stands and what is about to change. - Run the decision-making machinery. - Surface strategy early and prepare the materials to support it. - Be genuinely AI-native. - Manage program budget and resources. - Quarterback business development execution. - Lead through influence, not authority. - Support board and investor readiness. - Set the program-management standard. Qualifications - ~10+ years in biotech/pharma drug development, with meaningful time in a program or portfolio management capacity. - Direct experience taking a program through late-stage development and to approval and/or commercialization. - Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs and influence senior executives without direct authority. - Deep, hands-on command of the integrated drug-development process across functions. - Genuinely AI-native: already using AI tools extensively in your daily work. - Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive-presentation skills. - Experience supporting business development / corporate development diligence, alliance management, or partnership execution is a strong plus. - Thrives in a small, fast-moving, ambiguous environment. - Experience preparing board- or investor-facing materials is a plus. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. - 5+ years of experience supporting production operations, application operations, platform operations, API platforms, middleware, or enterprise integration environments. - Experience supporting 24x7 production operations, incident triage, service restoration, escalation coordination, and operational reporting. - Experience using ServiceNow for incident, service request, change, problem, and RCA documentation. - Experience troubleshooting production issues involving availability, latency, routing, connectivity, errors, authentication, authorization, monitoring, logging, or configuration. - Experience supporting monitoring, alerting, dashboards, log analysis, performance reporting, and operational trend analysis, including AppDynamics, ELK, OpenTelemetry, or comparable observability tools. - Experience supporting patching, vulnerability remediation, certificate updates, backup/restore validation, disaster recovery exercises, or platform currency activities. - Experience performing post-change validation, smoke testing, regression checks, readiness reviews, and evidence collection for production changes. - Experience supporting IBM webMethods API Gateway or comparable enterprise API gateway products such as Kong, Google Apigee, MuleSoft Anypoint API Manager, Microsoft Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, IBM API Connect, Red Hat 3scale, Axway Amplify, WSO2 API Manager, Tyk, or similar platforms. - Strong written communication skills for incident documentation, RCA materials, operational reports, runbooks, validation evidence, and knowledge transfer.
