Who we are looking for: The Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement and supply chain processes within the organization. This role involves daily communication with global suppliers to track fabric trend and development as well as price inquiry, follow up production process, communicate product and packaging related information as well as working with cross functional teams within the company. The Sourcing Coordinator will collaborate with various departments to understand their sourcing needs and to align procurement strategies with organizational goals. Who You Are: - Degree in Fashion/Supply Chain. - 3-5 years of experience in apparel/textile industry. - Must have fashion industry experience. - Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. - Accuracy and efficiency driven. Be able to handle data entry and spreadsheets quickly and accurately. - Understanding of product life cycle, from fibers through apparel manufacturing, planning and commercialization across a wide variety of apparel categories. - Strong fabric knowledge. - Strong understanding of price/cost relationship of materials options and the relative impact on retail price/target margins. - Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams within the company and overseas vendors in various countries. - Proficient in Microsoft Office. - Soft Skills: Communication, organization, attention to detail, problem solving, customer service, time management, adaptability. What you will do: - - Work extensively with existing global suppliers. - Track and manage developments covering various product categories (Sleepwear, Workwear, Activewear, Thermal etc.) to ensure timely delivery and alert any issues that may impact on performance. - Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions. - Analyze data to support decision-making and improve sourcing strategies. - Provide regular reports on sourcing activities and performance metrics. - Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and requirements. - Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. - Following up all submittals from fabric L/D, QUALITY, BULK and TRIMS. - Shipping marks/sort code stickers for all non-WM shipments.
