Construction Project Manager

Fairweather Safety Consulting

• Managing construction and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery to scope, budget, quality and programme requirements. • Developing project briefs, programmes, budgets, risk registers and delivery plans with key stakeholders. • Coordinating all stages of the project lifecycle, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, handover and close-out. • Managing project costs, forecasts, purchase orders and financial reporting to ensure strong commercial control. • Leading project meetings, site reviews and progress updates, ensuring actions are completed and risks are effectively managed. • Building strong relationships with operational teams, contractors, consultants and external partners. • Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in compliance with CDM 2015, Building Regulations and company standards. • Minimising disruption to our sites by planning works effectively and maintaining clear communication throughout delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering construction, refurbishment or fit-out projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong project planning, risk management and project control experience.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, contracts and project expenditure.
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015, Building Regulations and construction health and safety requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with contractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • A relevant construction or engineering qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • It would be great if you also have APM, PRINCE2, CIOB or RICS qualifications or membership.
  • SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
  • Experience delivering projects within live retail, hospitality or multi-site environments.
