• Lead multiple concurrent datacenter construction projects of varying size, complexity, and phase • Oversee the delivery of greenfield, brownfield, and retrofit engineering and design projects • Manage internal and external resources to support building, power, cooling, telecom, and controls scope • Coordinate internal client stakeholders and external consultants • Facilitate problem-solving and support the incorporation of new equipment and operational processes • Provide design and construction coordination for datacenter projects • Build strong, productive relationships with clients and project partners • Collaborate and cross-train with Otak team members to improve efficiency, quality, and project delivery

Job Requirements

  • Engineering Degree in: Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Construction disciplines
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction or design-related fields
  • 3+ years in data center or mission-critical construction environments and Owner Representation
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams in advanced engineering and operational processes
  • PMP and/or CMIT certification (or active pursuit); OSHA 10 Certification
  • Experience with commercial and high-tech construction, including retrofits
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, land-use processes for green-field construction/site, and contractual change management
  • Advanced oral and effective written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of AI tools, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and construction management software
  • Proven experience managing projects in a virtual/remote environment, with willingness to travel as needed
