IT Engineering Manager – Marketing Technologies

• Manage a team of direct reports within the IT Engineering division • Collaborate with executive leadership on datacenter lifecycles, contract renewals, power footprint negotiation, and capacity expansions • Oversee and prioritize technical project execution, including infrastructure upgrades and legacy environment decommissionings • Ensure deliverables are on target with goals and adapt to organizational goals or direction changes • Control costs by managing internal resources and containing expenses • Develop processes for the production of management reports, statistics, and performance measures. • Establish an environment where staff learns to be self-sufficient and competent.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional work experience
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud operations
- Must demonstrate recent, proven experience heavily balancing daily management duties with direct, hands-on technical execution.
- Extensive hands-on experience engineering, maintaining, and actively configuring Ubuntu environments, Puppet automation platforms, and bare-metal orchestration tools (MAAS)
- Demonstrated hands-on background executing datacenter footprint migrations and directly engineering/managing virtualization boundaries (including OpenStack, LXD, KVM, and ESXi lifecycles).
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Active Directory management, enterprise certificate enrollment processes, and identity tooling.
- Deep, hands-on familiarity with the intricacies of CEPH architecture and administration for long-term persistent storage.
- Technical proficiency evaluating, planning, and actively managing physical/SAN storage equipment.
