Role Description Eaton’s ES AMER Sector Integration division is currently seeking a Brightlayer Sales Enablement Trainer. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. This role leads global commercial sales enablement and training for the Brightlayer platform, supporting key solution areas including DIT, DCIM, Power, and EPMS. The position partners across regions and functions to build scalable learning programs, strengthen sales capabilities, and enable commercial teams worldwide. A key component of this role is close partnership with technical training teams to ensure alignment between technical knowledge and commercial selling behaviors. While technical training ownership remains with technical enablement teams, this role will leverage those materials and collaborate to incorporate foundational product understanding into commercial learning journeys, helping sellers confidently position solutions and articulate customer value. By aligning commercial enablement with technical training, this role will drive consistent sales behaviors, improved solution positioning, and more effective customer conversations across global markets. In this role, you will: - Assess current sales and commercial training programs and apply continuous improvement methodologies to keep the offering aligned with industry benchmarks and evolving business needs. - Partner with Digital Office leadership, offer management, global product line, technical training teams, subject matter experts, and regional sales leaders to define learning objectives and incorporate baseline product knowledge into commercial training. - Create and maintain digital training assets, including video guides, in-app walkthroughs, LMS modules, SharePoint-based enablement resources, and content developed in tools such as Articulate 360. - Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and provide timely updates on program milestones, accomplishments, challenges, and training progress. - Conduct external research on digitalization onboarding, selling capabilities, and commercial enablement needs to inform program design. - Identify gaps in current commercial enablement offerings and develop plans to close them in coordination with technical and business partners. - Build structured learning paths that support onboarding, role-based development, and ongoing capability growth. - Design and deliver blended, multi-modal training programs with defined success metrics to measure effectiveness and business impact. - Incorporate gamification and other engaging learning approaches to increase participation and reinforce adoption. - Analyze training and performance data to identify opportunities for process, knowledge, and communication improvements and drive ongoing optimization. Qualifications - High School diploma or GED equivalent or higher with a minimum 3 years of experience in sales enablement or learning and development. - Minimum 3 years of experience designing and delivering instructor-led virtual training. - No relocation offered. - Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. - 5+ years of experience in sales training (Preferred). - Experience working with DCIM software and other related power management platforms (Preferred). - Experience working with tools such as Skillable, Sharepoint, Salesforce, etc. (Preferred). Requirements - Demonstrated experience developing business partnerships with cross-functional leadership to achieve results. - Experience delivering instructor-led virtual training (VILT) to global audiences and manage training logistics and learner communications. - Experience delivering training to sales audiences and facilitating engaging learning experiences. - Strong project management skills demonstrated large, cross group project and program management skills. - Evaluate and leverage emerging learning technologies, including AI enabled content development, coaching, and learner support solutions. - Strong influencing, communication, and coaching skills. - Experience presenting to senior leadership. - Experience in collaborating with leaders. - Strong analytical skills, including experience developing and using metrics for analysis for various leadership levels and initiatives. - Experience maintaining training content lifecycle and governance. - Continuous/process improvement experience and mindset. - Coordinate translations and localization efforts. - Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint. - Experience with Learning Management Systems and learning technology. - Up to 25% travel domestically and internationally.
