Systems and Operations Trainer

Luxury Mortgage

Role Description The Trainer develops and delivers training programs that support Loan Origination System (LOS) functionality, operational workflows, vendor platforms and system enhancements. The Trainer will collaborate with department teams to support technology adoption, process improvements, and organizational change through effective training, workflow participation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). For assigned initiatives, this position may also provide basic Encompass Level 1 administrative support under IT and Encompass Administration guidance. This role reports directly to the Senior Project Manager. - Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs and support documentation for operational workflows, systems, vendor platforms and process enhancements. - Partner with Operations, IT, Credit, Compliance, and other departments to support process improvements, system implementations and organizational initiatives. - Participate in workflow design, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation activities to ensure successful adoption of process and technology changes. - Support change management efforts by creating training strategies, facilitating user adoption and identifying ongoing development opportunities. - Monitor utilization, adoption, and effectiveness of systems and processes, providing reporting and insights to leadership to drive continuous improvement. - Provide basic system administration support, including configuration assistance, validation of updates, and translation of business requirements into training and process documentation. - Serve as a key training and operational resource for employees, supporting onboarding, implementation and ongoing development initiatives. - Perform additional duties as may be set forth by the company. Qualifications - 3–7 years of experience in mortgage banking, preferably in Operations, Credit, Secondary, Compliance, or Systems. - Experience working with a Loan Origination System; Encompass preferred. - Strong understanding of mortgage workflows with the ability to translate processes into training content. - Experience supporting system changes, implementations or operational initiatives. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering training or instructional content. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills. - Ability to collaborate across teams and simplify complex processes for end users.
