Role Description FCCI is seeking a strategic and technically strong Director, Inland Marine to lead the growth and profitability of our Inland Marine lines of business. Working collaboratively with Corporate Underwriting, Regional leadership, Distribution, Operations, and IT, you will shape the future of FCCI's Inland Marine portfolio while supporting agency relationships and developing underwriting talent across the organization. This position will be in an FCCI regional office or remote. - Manage portfolio performance, including profitability, rate adequacy, retention, and new business growth. - Develop and maintain underwriting standards, pricing guidelines, and best practices in partnership with Corporate Underwriting, Regional leadership, Distribution, and Operations. - Serve as the highest level of field Inland Marine underwriting authority for the organization. - Partner with Information Technology and business stakeholders to develop and implement technology solutions that support online Inland Marine products and business growth. - Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging risks to recommend product and underwriting enhancements. - Act as a trusted technical resource for Inland Marine underwriting across FCCI. - Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners and represent FCCI in the marketplace.
