• Primary point of contact for clients, attorneys and sales reps for commercial transactions. • Review title insurance products such as commitments, pro-formas, policies and endorsements with support of in-house legal team or agency counsel if necessary. • Work with Buyer/Seller and Lenders to clear and close National Transactions • Assist coordinators in preparing invoices on National Deals • Interact with business development team as needed • Help with possible overflow of settlement statements • Forward-facing transaction management with heavy interaction between all parties to a commercial transaction • Work closely with local and/or agency counsel on complex underwriting matters/High Liability approvals • Pipeline management and ensuring the critical dates and follow-ups are being met • Coordination of delivery of executed documents for recording/post- closing • Recognize title defects and work with clients and if necessary in-house counsel and/or agency counsel as to insurability, when necessary. • Correspond with clients to obtain missing documentation and/or clarify information.
• Execute new and renewal business activity by quoting, placing, binding, and confirming policies within established guidelines • Market insurance products by identifying appropriate coverage solutions through accessible markets for less complex risks • Negotiate coverage terms with carriers within defined underwriting and pricing parameters • Serve as a primary point of contact for agents on assigned accounts, managing communication and responding to inquiries in a high-volume environment • Ensure accuracy of submissions and policy information, including risk details and coverage structure • Monitor assigned accounts to maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and underwriting standards • Support production goals by driving transactional deal flow and contributing to overall team performance
• The National Commercial Underwriting Counsel position is responsible for handling large volumes of files, and time sensitive material associated with transaction matters • Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits, to underwrite the issuance of title insurance and provide guidance in the performance of real estate settlement services • Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization to company personnel, agents, and clients, related to the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies • Provide guidance to company personnel in the performance of real estate settlement services • Issue underwriting standards and guidelines in accordance with established company processes
• Provides support to Brokers, Underwriters or Team Leaders regarding all policies and/or key accounts • Partners with Broker to solicit, promote, sell, quote, and maintain renewals from existing agents as well as support new business • Negotiate terms with the underwriters, including price, deductible, enhancement and exclusions • Select carriers to approach with accounts • Assist and/or provide quotations for new business, renewals and endorsements through managing all company correspondence in a timely manner • Prepare recommendations for agents showing fact information regarding best coverage information • Process new business, including transference applications to CRC applications, issue binders and invoices, and check policy coverages for accuracy by CRC guidelines • Process renewal business which may include locating files, preparing and mailing solicitor letters and/or preliminary submission information, issuing binders and invoices, and checking policy coverages for accuracy by CRC guidelines • Acquire confirmations from retailers when accounts are bound • Process cancellation and endorsement requests, including issuing binders and invoices, checking policy coverages for accuracy by CRC guidelines • Prepare company profiles and research analysis for client visits • Provide directions and supervision to team as requested by Broker • Manage incoming calls from producers and companies • Maintain good working relationship with current agents and other co-workers • Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and sales ideas through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, literature reviews and/or formal continuing education • Perform other duties, tasks, responsibilities and projects as assigned
• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of small group employer clients, managing day-to-day service needs at high volume via phone and email • Build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships through consistent, proactive outreach by phone and email; conduct virtual meetings (Teams) for open enrollment and renewal discussions as needed • Handle high-level client service issues with professionalism and urgency, delegating them to internal operations teams as appropriate and following through to ensure resolution • Maintain clear ownership of client issues — triage incoming requests, route to the correct internal team, and confirm completion on behalf of the client • Support the renewal process as needed, including coordinating with clients on plan options, gathering required information, and serving as the client's point of contact when questions or concerns arise during the renewal period • Proactively identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities, suggesting new or additional lines of coverage that align with client needs • Assist clients with compliance-related questions including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and Health Care Reform, escalating to the appropriate resource when needed • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date client records in the CRM system; document all client interactions, service issues, and renewal activity consistently • Manage a high volume of accounts with strong organizational discipline — prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and proactively managing the client calendar to stay ahead of renewals and key dates • Stay current on carrier products, plan designs, underwriting guidelines, and legislative changes by attending carrier meetings, webinars, and training sessions • Actively participate in team meetings and huddles, contributing to shared goals around client retention and service excellence • Assist with special projects, process improvements, and new service development as assigned
• Coordinates the servicing of new and renewal accounts from the time of binding in accordance with company and carrier guidelines • Prepares invoices and policy documentation, supports underwriting and rating activities, and proactively identifies and resolves issues • Underwrite renewal business with minimal supervision and escalate exceptions as needed • Clearly explain liability and program coverages to clients and prospective clients • Provide day-to-day guidance and instructions to underwriting clerks and policy typists • Review policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations; resolve discrepancies and coordinate corrections • Conduct rating for new and renewal business using approved methodologies and tools • Manage account documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper retention • Review and process policy servicing requests, including endorsements, audits, carrier requests, certificates, premium finance notices, and cancellations • Invoice and process new business and renewal binders, premium-bearing endorsements, and cancellations • Establish new submissions in the clearance system and route/handle them per established procedures • Produce cancellation and non-renewal notices in compliance with requirements • Maintain underwriting files for accounts where policies are not issued and ensure appropriate follow-up and documentation • Maintain pending/suspense and diary systems to track open items, deadlines, and required actions • Maintain account files in accordance with company policy and audit readiness standards. • Perform other duties as assigned to support underwriting operations and service commitments.
