Senior QA Engineer – E-commerce

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other QA to translate requirements into comprehensive black-box test plans. • Design and develop intricate test cases leveraging advanced black-box testing techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, state transition testing, combinatorial testing). • Craft robust test automation frameworks utilizing industry-leading tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) to achieve high test coverage and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software QA engineer, specializing in test automation frameworks and tool implementation
- In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mastery of test automation frameworks and experience with performance testing tools
- Experience with API testing is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Passion for software quality and a relentless drive to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- 3+ years of experience in Automation Framework Design and Implementation.
- Familiarity with languages like JavaScript, or TypeScript with Cypress Component Testing.
- Good understanding of SQL for data-driven testing familiarity with tools such as Karate, postman, soapUI or similar for API testing and validation.
- Basic Docker knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work in parallel to development.
- Fluent English level.
- Located in LATAM.
