Job Description

Distribution/Retail Channel Sales Executive

Motorola Solutions

• Responsible for achieving both sales and order financial plan performance • Work with vertical marketing teams to identify end user engagement opportunities • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned channel partner accounts • Lead PCR solution development efforts that best address end-user needs • Participate and support Partner Quarterly Business Reviews, Dealer Sales Rep training, Channel Partner Open House End User Seminars, and Webinars • Identify, evaluate and qualify strategic channel partners

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales experience
  • Understand the value of industry specific applications for our products and provide guidance on their selection and integration
  • Ability to coach and mentor new sales reps within our Channel community
  • Full understanding of CRM software and how to utilize it to manage pipeline, opportunities, and contacts (knowledge of salesforce.com CRM is preferable but not required)
  • Proven closing skills with emphasis on velocity through the funnel
  • Technical/IT sales experience preferred
